The first floor has been leased to Munich-based Limehome GmbH. The project development envisages the creation of 42 serviced apartments with a total size of around 1,960 square metres.
The main tenant of the building will be the auditing firm PKF Fasselt, which will occupy around 6,800 square metres of office space on the upper floors.
Across the street, the Verwaltungs-Berufsgenossenschaft (VBG) has constructed a six-storey office and administration building, which it will use as its new Duisburg district administration office from September 2025.
Together, the two buildings, known as the ‘Torhäuser an der Düsseldorfer Straße’ (gatehouses on Düsseldorfer Straße), will become one of the top addresses for inner-city office space. The accompanying redesign of Börsenstraße will enhance the urban landscape of a significant section of Duisburg's pedestrian zone and make it more attractive. The investment volume for the ‘Torhaus Nord’ is approximately £47 million.
