innovative business park with novel concept

 

In an urban location, not far from the port of Essen, an innovative business park is being developed under the name "City Dock". Usable floor space: approx. 15,400 m². The entire commercial area of the project in the port area comprises approx. 22,000 m². "City Dock" stands for a novel concept that has been specially developed for the realization of commercial space in inner-city locations. It is the first of its kind in North Rhine-Westphalia, well connected and conveniently located between the conurbations of Oberhausen, Gelsenkirchen and Bottrop. The modularly divided rental spaces can be used according to demand and flexibly designed. The business park is aimed at small to medium-sized companies, manufacturing businesses, branch operators and start-ups. A total of ten units with rental areas between 1,200 m2 and 6,000 m² are being built.

The sustainability of the concept is reflected in the modern commercial architecture and the targeted DGNB gold certification of the German Sustainable Building Council. In addition, the existing buildings on the site will be completely demolished as part of the site revitalization. Until a few years ago, one of the oldest training centers for the construction industry stood here. The "City Docks" thus contribute to an attractive urban development of the area.
