In an outstanding prime location on the B1, a forward-looking office property - the SKOffice - is being built on Stadtkrone Ost in the immediate vicinity of the ADAC building and the new building projects of Adesso and Continentale Versicherung.

The planning of the architectural office Tchoban Voss from Hamburg provides for the erection of a building ensemble consisting of two structures in six-story construction with an underground parking level. The new building project has already convinced the design advisory board of the city of Dortmund with its successful integration into the basic urban structure of the Stadtkrone Ost quarter. In particular, the concise orientation of the building with a clear spatial edge to the B1 will make an efficient contribution to separating traffic noise emissions from the planned expansion of the BAB 40. A total of around 18,200 m2 of office space is available with flexibly divisible units starting at around 400 m2, which can be tailored to individual user requirements and reflect modern office concepts. The division into two buildings with a total of four entrances also makes it possible to create representative addresses for future users. The SKOffice has a high-quality equipment standard that meets the latest requirements, especially with regard to sustainability and ESG aspects. Thus, in addition to the conception as a KfW Efficiency Building 40, a certification according to DGNB Gold is also planned. This will be achieved, among other things, by geothermal and photovoltaic systems and by a high quality of stay in the green inner courtyards. This is complemented by around 240 parking spaces in the underground garage and the outdoor facilities, which meet the highest requirements for electromobility. In addition, the Stadtkrone Ost site offers high utility, recreational and neighborhood value and, with more than 150 resident companies, a multi-layered cooperative network.
