A board of trustees has been constituted for the Business Metropole Ruhr GmbH (BMR), consisting of fifteen voluntary members. These members are representatives of renowned companies with a clear commitment for the region. Unanimously selected chairman of this advisory board is Prof. Dr. Hans-Peter Noll, executive board member of Stiftung Zollverein.
The board of trustees shall function as idea and impetus provider, in the sense of a strategic working group. The BMR is represented in the meetings by its Board of Management. In the first meeting, the work priorities “promotion of the digital economy”, “securing skilled personnel” and “location marketing” have been identified. Project-related, the know-how and the networks of the members can be used. The board of trustees works in close coordination with Initiativkreis Ruhr and other alliances in order to avoid double structures.
Patron of the board of trustees is Thomas Eiskirch, Lord Mayor of the city of Bochum and Chairman of the BMR supervisory board. In case you have questions regarding the board of trustees, please contact Prof. Dr. Hans-Peter Noll, executive board member of Stiftung Zollverein.
