The Hydrogen Competence Centre addresses one of the greatest challenges of the energy transition: the transport and storage of renewable energies. One of the most important locations for hydrogen and fuel cell technology! The former Ewald colliery site in Herten offers ideal conditions. Among other things, there are currently two hydrogen production plants on the site that generate hydrogen through wind power electrolysis. In addition to the realisation of project ideas, contacts to science and funding advice, the resident companies benefit from many other synergy effects.
