Overview of facts and figures
The Ruhr Economic Report has been published annually by the BMR since 2011. It provides information on employment subject to social insurance contributions in the Ruhr region and provides information on the number of companies based in the region and their turnover.
The Ruhr Economic Report focuses on eight central lead markets: health, digital communication, urban construction & living, education & knowledge, resource efficiency, mobility, leisure & events and sustainable consumption. In addition to these lead markets, the Industrial Core and Entrepreneurial Services sector is also analyzed.
